Khordha: Kshetrabasi DAV College at Nirakarpur in Odisha’s Khordha district has been closed indefinitely, with prohibitory orders imposed under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
The restrictions were imposed under Order No. 6120 issued by the office of the Khordha Sub-Collector October 14, 2026.
A notification issued by the college principal stated that the institution would remain closed from October 15 until further orders.
The college administration issued Notice No. 235/26 announcing the decision.
However, the notification did not specify the exact reason for the indefinite closure.
