Cuttack: The police seized a cow-laden truck enroute to West Bengal here Thursday night. However, as many as 50 cattle were found dead while being trafficked in the truck.
The police intercepted the truck in which the cows and cattle were being illegally trafficked from Andhra Pradesh to West Bengal via Odisha and seized it at Hadiapatha in Cuttack district.
Despite seizures by police and members of Bajrang Dal during the past, the illegal trafficking of cows is being reported from across the State.
