Bhubaneswar: The state government Thursday accepted the resignation of Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena and issued a No Objection Certificate to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The 2013-batch IPS officer had resigned from the All India Services citing personal reasons. Meena said he took the decision after discussions with his family and friends and requested that his privacy be respected.

He did not disclose his plans. Sources said Meena had submitted his resignation around three months ago.
