When it comes to Oriya music albums, the Subhasis and Aanisha starrer ‘Deewana Deewani’ solo is ruling the roost these days. The single garnered more than one lakh hits in just 48 hours post release.
Talking to Sunday POST lead actor of the solo, Subhasis observed: “Besides others, I would like to thank my beloved Aanisha (his co-actor) for being such a pillar of support both on and off screen. Thanks and love you Aanisha.”
Aanisha, the heroine of the video, said, “I was happy to work with these guys, they are cool, fun loving people; we never felt the pressure of work, as shooting was smooth and fun.”
‘Deewana Deewani’ is produced under the banner of Vighnanz The Band, Basudev Films & Prelude Productions. Prelude Productions’ Sanu Ratho said: “This team has immense enthusiasm and we are happy to be associated with the team members. The revolution which we started with ‘Saajna’ is continuing and we have come up with a new venture this time.”
SK Jabid Ali is the lyricist of the song while Durga and Amrita Nayak have lent voice to the track. Asked about the performance of the actors, Durga said: “Subhasis and Aanisha are a special couple and the viewers have accepted them as is evident from the response the audio has received. Even the video was a hit.”
