Aradi: After striking terror in the twin city of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the dengue viral has surfaced in Bhadrak district. Reports said Wednesday that a man was tested positive there. The victim was Chandan Biswal (25) of Sundarpur village under Chandbali block.
The reports said he contracted the disease while working for a firm in Vishakhapatnam. It started with fever. His condition kept deteriorating and he returned home. At a check-up, it was found he was affected by Dengue.
Family members rushed him to the SCB in Cuttack and he has been placed there under intensive care. He was put in an isolation ward in ways as to make sure the virus did not spread to other patients, doctors said.
