Dhanteras blessings upon PSU employees, CM hikes DA by 2%

Bhubaneswar: The State Government Monday announced an additional two percent hike in dearness allowance (DA) of state Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) employees.

According to official release issued from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Shri Naveen Patnaik approved the increment in DA for the PSU staff on this day.

The state PSU employees who are getting revised salary from 2017 are eligible to get the benefits retrospective from July 1, 2018.

With this hike, the DA of PSU employees stand increased to nine percent from the former seven percent.

Earlier this year in the month of March, Odisha government had also announced that it will implement recommendations of the 7^th Pay Commission with effect from January 1, 2016.
