Cuttack, March 14: Dhenkanal registered a resounding 160-run victory over Sonepur in a Group-C match of the Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament at the Barabati Stadium here Monday. Skipper Ajit Rout (4/26) crafted the win with a fine spell of bowling. In another match, Rayagada defeated Deogarh by five wickets.

MCC win
The U-15 team of Mukteswar Cricket Club (MCC) scripted an overwhelming eight-wicket win over Rest of BBSR (RoB) U-15 in a 40-over exhibition match at the BJB College Ground here Monday.
Opting to bat, RoB posted 164/2 in the stipulated overs. Binayak (69 n o) was the hero with the bat hitting a magnificent half century.
In reply, MCC knocked off the target for the loss of only two wickets with more than two overs to spare. Man of the match Bibhranshu Ray (62 n o) guided his side to an easy victory.
