Siya committed suicide by hanging herself. She was just 16 years old. According to reports, Siya was in depression. However, the reason behind her depression has not been revealed yet.
Siya was popular on social media which can be known from the fact that she has 11 lakh followers on TikTok and over one lakh followers on Instagram. Family sources say that Siya has been receiving threats on social media for the past few days.
As per reports published in Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala, the police have been told that Siya was being constantly threatened for her music videos on TikTok.
District Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Sharma says that Siya’s body has been handed over to the family after conducting the post-mortem. The matter is being investigated.
Siya had been making dance videos for the past several years. Apart from Tiktok, she shared these videos on Instagram and YouTube as well. She hired a manager, Arjun Sarin, to oversee the entire work.
