Bhubaneswar: Tension ran at the Indira Institute of Medical Science and Research, Bharatpur, under Khandagiri Police Station when about 20 nursing girl students ransacked the office of the director for allegedly sexually misbehaving with students.
Following the incident the police rushed to the spot and pacified the students.
Later, the police arrested the director of a nursing institute.
The accused has been identified as Kodanda Dhara Sahoo, Director of the institute.
The students alleged that Sahoo was sexually abusing the girl students and making obscene gestures. The matter came to light when one of the victim students came and told her classmates.
