Berhampur: In a heartrending incident, a man was killed while three others were left battling for life in a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw carrying them and a pick-up van. The incident happened at Baiganabadi square on the Berhampur-Digapahandi road in Ganjam district. The victims were on their way home after the man was discharged from hospital Tuesday.
The injured were rescued and rushed to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. The deceased was Kuna Sahu of Goudagaon village under Sadar police limits. He was undergoing treatment at MKCG over some ailment. Doctors discharged him after there was improvement in his health condition. However, the road mishap finally claimed his life.
