Bhubaneswar: Factories, manufacturing companies, garages and workshops Monday worshipped Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect, with full enthusiasm across the state.
Since early morning, four-wheeler and two-wheeler owners made a line with their decorated vehicles at Vishwakarma temple, near Kalinga Stadium, here in the capital city.
The priests performed puja of the vehicles at various houses.
Many associations have put up pandals to worship the Lord.
Engineers, craftsmen, artisans, mechanics, smiths, carpenters, welders, factory workers worship the Lord for a safe and prosperous working environment.
This apart, women also put vermilion on home appliances praying for their longevity and safety.
The industrial houses and associations also conducted various cultural programmes.
