ECoR to launch three trains

Bhubaneswar, Feb 8: East Coast Railway (ECoR) is set to roll out three services.
ECoR has decided to roll out the Paradip-Santragachi Weekly Express Monday, according to a release. The train will Monday leave Paradip at 6 pm and arrive at Santragachi at 3 am Tuesday. In the return direction, the train will depart Santragachi at 5 am Tuesday and arrive at Paradip at 12.15 pm.
However, the service would be regularised from Paradip February 16. The weekly express will then depart Paradip at 11.55 pm every Monday and arrive at Santragachhi at 8.45 am the next day. In the return direction, the train will leave Santragachi at 8.40 pm every Tuesday and arrive at Paradip at 4.30 am Wednesday.
ECoR will also operate the Visakhapatnam-Paradip Express as a special train February 11.
On its maiden trip, the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2.30 pm and reach Paradip at 11.15 pm. The regular run of this train will commence from Visakhapatnam February 15. It will then leave Paradip at 10.30 pm every Wednesday and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 8.35 am Thursday.
In the return direction, it will leave Visakhapatnam at 11.50 pm every Sunday and arrive at Paradip at 9.30 am Monday.
Both the weekly services will have one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 tier, seven sleeper class and six general second class carriages.
A new daily passenger train will also be rolled out between Gunupur and Visakhapatnam Monday from Gunupur.
The regular service would commence from Tuesday from Visakhapatnam. The Gunupur-Vizag passenger train will depart Gunupur at 2.25 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 9.40 pm.
