Mumbai: Cyclonic storm Tauktae has left a trail of destruction in Mumbai with hundreds of trees uprooted and houses damaged. The situation was tense yesterday and everyone was praying for the film city as there were visual of trees being uprooted, flying of big posters and etc.
However, Diya Aur Bati Hum actress Deepika Singh Goyal was spotted having a gala time during the cyclone. The actress was seen posing for pictures and dancing during the rain. She herself shared a few pictures on her social media handle.
Meanwhile, a video of the famous TV actress is going viral in which she can be seen dancing in the rain amidst a broken tree. Sharing the post, Deepika Singh wrote, “You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself, embrace the nature and it’s gloomy moods because the storm will pass..Ps: This tree fell right outside my house nobody got hurt, but while putting it away from my door, Rohit and I managed to take few pictures to remember the #cyclonetauktae ! #staysafe #stayhome #fullmadness : @rohitraj.goyal.”

This has not gone well with social media users who brutally trolled her for her insensitive timing. Many trolled her for neglecting the plight of people affected due to the cyclone. However, the actress responded to some trolls.
On the work front, she was seen in Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein and Deepika has also featured in Diya Aur Baati Hum. She is yet to be return to the small screen.
