Mumbai: Massive fire broke out on the sets of Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No 1 which is being shot at Filmistan Studio, Goregaon, Mumbai at around 12:30 AM last night.
However, no causalities were reported yet and the precise reason behind the fire has not been established either.
According to reports, 15 workers were present at the spot and they immediately called the Fire station and the Police to inform them about the mishap.
The details related to the damage to the sets and film property is unknown as of now.
Recently the posters of the film were released on social media. Varun will be seen in the shoes of Govinda while Sara will portray Karisma Kapoor’s character. As per reports, Paresh Rawal will take up the role of Kader Khan and will play Sara’s father in the film. The first schedule for the film’s shooting began in Bangkok last month.
‘Coolie No. 1’ is an upcoming 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. A remake of the 1995 film of the same name, the film stars Varun and Sara, and follows a rich girl who falls in love with a poor coolie much to the disapproval of her father.
