Dhenkanal: An elderly man who sustained severe burn injuries in a fire caught from a bidi butt died while undergoing treatment at Rasol in Dhenkanal district Tuesday.
According to reports, when Mohan Sahu (75), was smoking a ‘bidi’ some sparkles fell on his ‘dhoti’ and caught fire.
His family members rushed him to Hindol sub-divisional hospital and later shifted to Dhenkanal district hospital after his condition deteriorated.
