Sydney, Feb 20: Despite the threat of cyclone ‘Marcia’, Michael Clarke stated here Friday that there will be no restrictions on where he fields in his return from injury for Australia’s World Cup match with Bangladesh here, Saturday. However, weather may act as a spanner against the much-anticipated return of Clarke.

Clarke informed that he has done his match preparations and was ready to play if the game went on schedule. “Our physio Alex Kountouris made it very clear to me that he wanted to push me as hard as possible so that when I walk out onto the field I know I’ve done everything at training,” the Aussie captain wrote in his column for a newspaper here.

Clarke also appeared confident regarding his fitness and said, he passed through different steps of recovery to prove himself to coach Darren Lehmann and the physio. “I think I have proved myself to the medical staff that I am fit and ready to go,” wrote Clarke. “If I have proved myself to them, then I have proved the same thing to myself also.”

The Australian skipper also stated that there would be no restrictions on his fielding positions. “I don’t want to field in a certain position and restrict myself,” he stated. “Instead I would like to go at 100mph, dive, jump, throw myself whenever I have to.”
