Bhubaneswar, Jan 25: Dense fog in the national capital Sunday continued to affect Bhubaneswar-bound trains and flights.
The New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express (12802) was running around 15 hours behind schedule. The train which was scheduled to reach the city at 3.30 am arrived at 6.15 pm Sunday, causing tremendous hardship to passengers travelling from the national capital to Bhubaneswar.
The New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express (22824) was delayed by four hours and was expected to reach Bhubaneswar at 9.34 pm instead of the scheduled arrival time of 5.30 pm. Another Bhubaneswar-bound train, Nandankanan Express, was delayed by 11 hours and 13 minutes.
Flights were also hit with IndiGo’s 6E 341 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar flight being delayed by around 45 minutes. Another flight on the same sector, IndiGo 6E 259, was around 30 minutes behind schedule and landed at 6.59 pm instead of 6.25 pm.
Air India’s AI 877 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar flight was delayed by 47 minutes and landed at the city airport at 9.47 am. However, both the GoAir flights of the same sector remained unaffected Sunday.
