Bhubaneswar: Info Valley police arrested four persons in connection with the theft of a truck valued at approximately Rs 60 lakh and recovered the stolen vehicle along with several vehicle parts and tools.
The arrested accused have been identified as Manoj Kumar Pattanayak (34), Kabindra Pradhan (37), Satyaban Subuddhi (26) and Biswajit Routray (37).
According to police, complainant Alok Nayak, a supervisor at the Gangapada branch of Aditi Infralog Private Limited, had been entrusted with monitoring a truck deployed for transportation work at a soft drinks manufacturing plant in Khordha.
On August 4, the driver parked the vehicle behind a filling station near NH-16 at Gangapada.
Locked the vehicle and handed over the keys to Nayak.
On the morning of August 8, Nayak found that the vehicle had disappeared.
