Angul: A woman and her three minor sons sustained critical injuries after a portion of the wall of their house collapsed on them at Banjamunda under Munduribeda panchayat in Pallahara block of Angul district Saturday night.
The injured have been identified as Sukumari Pingua and her three sons Aadesh (7), Krishna (3) and Manoj (18 months).
They have been rescued by neighbours and admitted to Khamar government hospital. Their condition is stated to be normal.
Sukumari’s husband Anukul Pingua had a narrow escape from the incident.
According to reports, the incident happened when five members of the family were fast asleep inside their house.
Earlier, three persons including a couple died while a minor boy sustained injuries in wall collapse at Rayagada and Kalahandi districts.
