Bhubaneswar: Hockey Gangpur, Orissa registered an emphatic 4-1 victory over Hockey Andhra Pradesh in a match of the Hockey India VIIIth Sub-Junior Women’s National Division A Championships at Saifai, Uttar Pradesh, Wednesday.
Jyoti Chhatri (fifth) opened the account for Gangpur by converting a penalty corner. Manisha Oram doubled the lead in the 42nd minute. After the change of ends the Gangpur eves continued to attack the opposition and scored through Sunita Xaxa who struck in the 49th minute through a solo effort. Philicia Toppo (55th) sounded the board with a reverse flick to complete the rout.

Sony Gonda scored a double hat-trick to be adjudged player of the match.
