Semiliguda: A girl died and her two brothers were critically injured after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell down a bridge at Sunabeda Timbhar square in Koraput district Thursday. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Vishakhapatnam.
The deceased was Shilpa Kuldeep (22), while the injured were her brother Pradip Kuldeep (18) and cousin Sabir Takri of Marichamal village under Semiliguda block.
Shilpa was on her way to Koraput to appear for an exam. The two relatives were accompanying her. The road was slippery due to rain and the car slipped and fell off the bridge. Locals rescued the three and admitted them to the Sunabeda government hospital. Later they were taken to a Vishakhapatnam hospital. Shilpa died on the way. Police reached the spot and seized the vehicle.
