A video from the Asia Cup 2025 clash between India and Pakistan is going viral on social media, showing a bizarre incident that left the crowd stunned. Instead of Pakistan’s national anthem, an item song began playing due to a technical glitch.
As per tradition, the national anthems of both teams are played before every international match. But this time, when it was Pakistan’s turn, an English song blared for a few seconds, leaving players and fans shocked. The song was quickly stopped, and the correct national anthem was played afterwards.
The high-voltage India-Pakistan encounter of Asia Cup 2025 was held at Dubai International Stadium. India went on to secure a comfortable seven-wicket win in the Group A match, dominating Pakistan in a one-sided contest.

In terms of the tournament, both teams had entered the game on a winning note. India defeated UAE by nine wickets in their opening match, while Pakistan crushed Oman by 93 runs.
India is led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, with Shubman Gill as vice-captain. The team, ranked No. 1 in the ICC T20 standings, is considered the strongest contender for the title. Pakistan, on the other hand, came into the tournament in top form after winning a recent triangular series, making the encounter even more anticipated.
