Good news for women! Subhadra scheme registrations reopen from April 1

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has taken a major decision regarding the Subhadra scheme. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said fresh registrations will be open from April 1 to April 30 to include more eligible beneficiaries.

Women aged between 21 and 60 years as of April 1, 2026, can apply. Only those who have not applied earlier or are not already beneficiaries will be eligible. Applicants must be permanent residents of Odisha.

Government employees, pensioners, income tax payers, and families owning large landholdings will be excluded.

Beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,000 annually in two installments of Rs 5,000 each, amounting to Rs 50,000 over five years.

How to apply:

Applications can be submitted online through the official Subhadra portal. Those opting for offline mode can apply at Common Service Centres (CSC), Ama Seva Kendras (ASK), Anganwadi centres, or CDPO offices, where forms are available free of cost. Applicants will need to provide Aadhaar, bank account details, a photograph, and address proof, and must complete e-KYC.
