Mumbai: Bloody Daddy actor Ronit Roy celebrates his birthday October 11. On this occasion, let us tell you some interesting facts about the star.

Ronit, who grew up in Ahmedabad, pursued a course in hotel management after completing school. After obtaining a management degree, he moved to Mumbai and stayed at Subhash Ghai’s house.

Ronit wanted to pursue a career in acting, but it was not easy for him to get roles. Subhash Ghai also explained to him that it was quite difficult to get a job in the film industry. After much hardship, he was recruited as a trainee at Sea Rock Hotel in Mumbai. During this period, Ronit’s work ranged from dishwashing and cleaning to serving tables and bartending.

After much struggle, Ronit was offered the lead role in 1992’s Jaan Tere Naam. The film did fine, but Ronit’s career didn’t take off. Ronit began his TV career with the serial Kammal.

Ronit also worked in Ekta Kapoor’s popular serial Kasautii Zindagi Ki. Later, Ekta offered him the lead role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as ‘Mihir Virani’. Along with acting, Ronit is also a businessman. He also has a company called Ace Security and Protection Agency.

Ronit is one of the highest-paid TV actors. He is also known as ‘KD Pathak’ because of his court show. Talking about Ronit’s personal life, Roy was first married to a woman named Joanna, and they have a daughter named Ona. On 25 December 2003, he married actress and model Neelam Singh, with whom he has a daughter Aador (born May 2005), and a son, Agastya.
