Mumbai: Birthday girl Sharvari Wagh made her debut with Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2 (2021) and bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. On occasion of her birthday, let us tell you some important facts about her life.
Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi is Sharvari’s maternal grandfather. Her father, Shailesh Wagh, is a well-known builder in Mumbai, while her sister Kasturi and mother, Namrata Wagh, are both architects.
Wagh has worked as an assistant director in the movies Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. She said she had been auditioning since 2014 for a main role in movies. She made her acting debut with the 2020 Amazon Prime series The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye, opposite Sunny Kaushal.
Sharvari is an avid social media user and often posts temperature-raising photos. She was also trolled for her weird dressing sense, but she stayed unaffected and slays in her style.
