Hate Story 2 actress Surveen Chawla doesn’t want to work in serials: Know why

Mumbai: Actress Surveen Chawla who made her TV debut as ‘Charu’ in the serial ‘Kahin Toh Hoga’ now wants to quit the idiot box. Surveen impressed the viewers with her acting in ‘Sacred Games 2’ and now she doesn’t want to work in the small screen anymore. She has recently revealed the reason behind her decision during an interview.

Surveen said, “Our television shows are still not doing much experiment with content. There is not much change. So acting in TV serials is not an option now.”

She added, “I don’t get any satisfaction working in serials. The contents in films are different giving me a better scope of acting. Filmmakers and writers are really coming up with innovative ideas in their scripts. I would rather work on those rather than try out stale and old formulas.”

It should be stated here that Surveen Chawla married Akshay Thakker in Italy, 2015. However, she only revealed the news more than two years on social media platform Twitter in December 2017.

She gave birth to daughter Eva, April 15, 2019. She uploaded a video of her daughter and herself September 7 2019.

Surveen has starred in TV serials such as ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ and ‘Kaajjal’ before featuring in Netflix’s Sacred Games.
