Kendrapada: Police recovered a naked, headless body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be around 40 years old, near the Luna river embankment in Odisha’s Kendrapada district Friday morning.
Preliminary suspicion suggests that the woman may have been murdered and her body dumped near the river embankment. However, her identity and the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.
On receiving information, personnel from Kudanagari police station reached the spot, recovered the body and launched an investigation.
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the woman’s identity, determine the cause of death and identify those involved in the suspected crime.
