After ‘Mere Naam Tu’ and ‘Issaqbaaz’, the makers have released another fresh track ‘Husn Parcham’ from the film ‘Zero’ of Aanand L Rai.
The song introduces Katrina Kaif’s character Babita Kumari in a scintillating avatar. Katrina spotted with curls for the first time on screen; the actor’s glamorous look will grab every eyeball.
We are sure, Katrina, who is touted to be one of the best dancers in Bollywood, will nail the song once again. Katrina’s song ‘Husn Parcham’ will also remind you of the Kamli track from Dhoom 3.
Cinematic lighting with a glamorous golden tint to the multicoloured scene gives a perfect escape to the audience. The dreamy sequence shows Katrina in the avatar of a female barber, and the powerful choreography does take control of the watcher as the lyrics prompt, ‘tonight I am in control, so dance to my beat’.
In the teaser, there is a glimpse of Shah Rukh as the vertically challenged character – Bauua Singh – and Katrina Kaif is an alcoholic superstar named Babita Kumari. The song begins with Bauua Singh’s haldi ceremony, when he’s informed that there’s excitement in the air about an upcoming performance by Babita Kumari. It appears Bauua Singh is prepping for his wedding to a specially-abled scientist Aafia, who is played by Anushka Sharma.
Zero is second collaboration of Shah Rukh, Katrina and Anushka after 2012 hit Yash Chopra’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, Zero will release December 21.
