Bhubaneswar: Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) inaugurated an international conference titled EVOLVE 2026 Friday, bringing together leading scientists from the country and across the globe to explore cutting-edge advances in novel therapeutics.

Organised under the aegis of the Indian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (InSEV), the conference focused on the growing significance of extracellular vehicles (EVs)—tiny membrane-bound particles released by cells that play a vital role in intercellular communication by transporting proteins, lipids, and genetic material throughout the body.

The three-day event drew 180 participants from 62 institutions across the country, along with researchers from France, Germany, Sweden, the UAE, and the United States.
