Ranchi: Usman Khawaja (104, 113b, 11×4, 1×6) and Captain Aaron Finch (93, 99b, 10×4, 3×6) put on an opening partnership of 193 as Australia scored an imposing 313/5 in 50 overs in the 3rd One Day International against India.

Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first.

Glenn Maxwell made a quickfire 47 off 31 balls (3×4, 3×6) while Alex Carey and Marcus Stonis made unbeaten 21 and 31 respectively to cross the 300 runs mark for Australia.

It proved to be a dismal day for Indian bowlers with only Kuldeep Yadav achieving something of note after taking three wickets, including that of Finch, and giving away 64 runs in his ten overs.
