IOCL employees meet STF team over Tito’s link

Bhubaneswar: With Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch probing the crime syndicate of notorious gangster Tito alias Syed Usman Ali of Kendrapara after his arrest last month, some employees of Paradip-based Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) met the STF team Wednesday.

Earlier, IOCL authorities have already recommended for a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities following which Tito has been permitted to own a petrol pump in Kendrapara and handling of adhoc COCO at the Paradip Port.

The five IOCL employees after their meeting with the STF told reporters that they had actually come to complain against some miscreants having link with the Tito gang and are allegedly obstructing the ongoing IOCL pipeline work of Paradip-Ranchi-Raipur.

On the other hand, STF sleuths on the day arrested one Sheikh Asaddul Qadir alias Machu from Kendrapara for his unholy nexus with Tito’s crime syndicate.

STF sources said that arrested Machu allegedly acted as middleman between government officials and Tito’s crime syndicate.
