Jacqueline Fernandez’s ‘Drive’ postponed for the 3rd time

Mumbai: Dharma Productions ‘ Drive ‘ has been postponed once again. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. It is for the third time that the film’s release has been deferred.

The action-thriller, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, was earlier targeting a March 2018 release but due to delay in shooting, it was pushed to September 2018 and then June 28, 2019.

As per reports, the release date of the movie has been extended due to post production work.

According to Jacqueline, “This is a sexy movie which includes car racing. In the film you will see me doing a lot of action scenes. This is a film that I am eagerly waiting to release.”

She added, “The visual effects team is taking its time to get the scale right as the bar of action has been raised.”

The makers of the movie are demanding that the film be released in 2019 only. ‘

A statement from the makers read: “The final edit has been locked, and presently the film is in the final stage of post-production, contrary to reports that it is being reshot or will be premiered on the digital platform. ‘Drive’ is on course to a regular theatrical release in the second half of the year.”
