Jagannath Seva Samiti releases Nabakalebar schedule

Puri: Sri Jagannath Chetana Seva Samiti Thursday published a booklet containing the schedule for Nabakalebar-2015. The Srimandir administration, however, is yet to release the official schedule. Samiti president Ramchandra Das Mohapatra said Nabakalebar rituals could be performed at Srimandir and other Jagannath temples as per the schedule given in the booklet. The booklet schedule says, March 29- Banajaga Yatra, April 21—Akshaya Trutiya with Chandan Yatra, June 2- Debasnana Purnima, June-15- Brahma Parivartan of the deities, July 17- Netrotsav and Nabayouban Darshan, July 18- Rath Yatra, July 22- Hera Panchami, July 23- South-facing of chariots, July 25-Sandhya Darshan, July 26- Bahuda Yatra, July 27-Sunabesha, July 28-Adharapana, July 30- Niladri Bije. However, Srimandir administrator (rituals) Prsanna Hota said the temple administration is preparing the detailed Nabakalebar schedule as per the new almanac and it would be published soon. PNN
