Jamia VC given additional charge of University of Orissa

Bhubaneswar: The incumbent vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Talat Ahmed, has been given the additional charge of vice chancellor of Central University of Orissa, Koraput. The President, in his capacity as its Visitor, has appointed Ahmad as vice chancellor of the CUO, Koraput for the interim period till the appointment of a new vice-chancellor, a CUO release said. Earlier Ahmad, an earth scientist who had served at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi, was vice-chancellor of University of Kashmir. PTI
