Cuttack, Feb 24: Jharsuguda registered a resounding 134 runs victory over Puri in a match of the Inter-district Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament at the Nimpur Ground here Wednesday.
After taking a crucial first innings lead of 110 runs, Jharsuguda were bundled out for 144 in their second essay. Lalu Mohanty (6/27) of Puri turned out to be the wrecker-in-chief.
Chasing a target of 255, Puri faced a batting debacle again and were skittled out for 120 with Sagar Rout (6/58) doing the maximum damage.

Delhi thrash Orissa
Orissa suffered a humiliating 0-3 thrashing at the hands of Delhi in the AITA Inter-State Women’s tennis tournament at Bhilai, Wednesday. In the first singles match Anaam Almas was comprehensively defeated by Vaniya Dangwal 0-6, 0-6, then Shweta Rana trounced Shilpi Swarupa Das 6-0, 6-2. In doubles, Shilpi and Anaam lost to Shweta and Anupreet Bedi 3-6, 1-6.

Muna Murmu of Orissa was selected to the Indian squad Wednesday for the Dubai Asia Rugby 7s tournament at Al Ain, February 26-27.
