Jobra Municpal enter quarterfinals

Cuttack, April 12: Jobra Municpal High School beat St. Xaviers by 62 runs to enter the quarterfinals of the PVR Murthy Inter-School cricket tournament at the Bhuvanananda School of Engineering here Sunday.

Put into bat first, Jobra scored 137 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 25 overs with Jagabandhu Biswal (41) emerging as the highest scorer. In reply, St. Xaviers were never on the chase and were bundled out for 75, with Amarendra Nayak returning with a six wicket haul.
