Kannada actor Arjun Gowda turns ambulance driver for COVID-19 patients

Chennai: The entire country is completely shaken by the novel COVID-19. Celebrities from Hindi film industry and South industry are trying their best to help in their own way. Everyone is doing their bit to help the covid patients.

But, Kannada film actor Arjun Gowda has gone a step forward and become an ambulance driver. The actor has named his trust ‘Project Smile Trust’. Under this, they are giving assistance to all the needy. They are continuously increasing their work to help covid-19 patients irrespective of who they are.

Speaking to The Times of India, Arjun Gowda said, “I’ve been on the road for a couple of days and I’ve already helped out around half a dozen people with assistance for final rites. We want to ensure that we help out anyone in need irrespective of where they come from or what religion they practice.”

He said, “I’m also ready to travel across town for help. I ended up taking someone who lives in Kengeri all the way to Whitefield to get them admitted to the hospital. I plan on continuing with this help for the next couple of months as the current situation is quite bad and I want to do my bit to people in whatever little way that I can.”

On professional front, Arjun Gowda has appeared in Yuvarathnaa, Odeya, Rustum and Aa Drushya.
