Mumbai: Actress Katrina Kaif has finally come out in the open regarding her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and has been quoted as saying that it lasted for close to seven years. However, the two broke up during the shooting of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (2017).
At a recent event which she attended, Katrina Kaif has confirmed that they were in a relationship during which they travelled, ate out together quite frequently and spent quality time together. “But yes we did break up,” she has been quoted as saying. “May be it was not supposed to last.”
Katrina instead of going into the real reasons behind the break-up has said that it is never guaranteed that all relationships will work. “More than blaming one another, it is important to learn from every relationship. It teaches you to introspect, to assess your strengths, weaknesses and fears. I also learnt about myself through my relationship,” Katrina Kaif has said.
The actor has also stated that even though they broke up during the shooting of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ the shooting of the film never got affected as they are true ‘professionals’.
Since the break-up, Ranbir Kapoor has entered into a relationship with Alia Bhatt. The industry is full of rumours regarding their marriage. A large number of people have been saying that both Alia and Ranboor will tie the nuptial knot this year only. On the other hand, Katrina has said that since her break-up with Ranbir, she has been ‘single’ and only wants to concentrate on her work.
