Bhubaneswar/ Keonjhar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced an exgratia of Rs 3 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the kin of deceased who lost their lives in a road accident at Sathighar Sahi in Keonjhar district on the early hours of Wednesday.
As many as five people died and nine were injured when a truck ran over a wedding procession on NH 20 near Sathighar Sahi in Keonjhar district.
The Chief Minister directed officials to provide free Medicare to the injured and prayed for a speedy recovery.
Expressing his profound grief over the death, the Chief Minister also conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
