Keonjhar/Patna: Keonjhar superintendent of police (SP) Mitrabhanu Mohapatra had a close shave after a concrete mixer truck rammed his car Thursday.
The incident took place on National Highway-49 at Jharbeda square that comes under Turumunga police limits in Keonjhar district.
The front left part of the SP’s car has suffered severe damages under impact of the collision.
Upon contacting over mobile phone, Mohapatra said he was safe and that his vehicle has suffered damages.
According to the police, Mohapatra was on his way to Turumunga police station for inspection when the mishap occurred.
The concrete mixer truck fled from the spot after the incident. Mohapatra is learnt to have gone to Champua in another vehicle. Turumunga police have launched an investigation into the incident.
