Kid with unusual hair growth on face to have 2nd surgery

Berhampur: A kid, who had a surgery at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for unusual growth of hair on his face, will undergo another surgery after three months, a report said Thursday

The kid identified as Kanha from Baghua under Jagannathprasad block recently underwent a surgery at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for removal of unwanted locks from his face.

This was stated here by Dr Raju Dash, head of the department of plastic surgery after the bandage on the child’s was removed Thursday. The child underwent a surgery on one part of his face.

The child will take at least three months for complete healing and later, the second phase operation will be conducted on him, he said.

When contacted, the child’s father Rama Chandra Nayak said they have been staying in the hospital for a month but finding it hard to spend on food and other things as they are very poor. He said their survival could become easier if the government makes some arrangements for them.
