Cuttack, April 15: KIIT registered a resounding 10 wickets victory over Guru Nanak Public School to advance to the semifinals of the PVR Murthy Inter-School cricket tournament at the Bhuvanananda Engineering Ground here Wednesday.
Opting to bat first, Guru Nanak were bundled out for a paltry total of 37 in 11.5 overs as Jogibar Taria (4/11) and Subash Chandra Mallick (3/12) shared seven wickets among themselves. KIIT reached the winning target in only 5.2 overs without losing a wicket. Jogibar was adjudged man of the match for his fine spell.
