Patna: An eighteen-month-old girl died of snakebite after her admission for treatment at the Karanjia sub-divisional hospital Monday. The deceased was Suryamani, daughter of Sukadeb Marandi of Damahuda village near here in Keonjhar district.
As per reports, a poisonous snake entered Sukadeb’s house Sunday night and bit the girl in her sleep following which her condition started deteriorating, she was rushed to the sub-divisional hospital but this did not help.
