Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle, 150 police officers in the rank of sub-inspectors (SIs) and assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) stationed at different police stations and outposts in the twin cities have been transferred by the Commissionerate Police here Sunday.
Three SIs each from Capital and Infocity police stations have been shifted to other police stations under the Commissionerate. SI Subhendu Kumar Das posted at the Capital police station has been transferred to Mancheswar police station. SI Markand Mishra of the same police station has been shifted to Nayapalli police station. Subhash Chandra Bhatt of Infocity police station has been transferred to Nayapalli police station.
The earlier order (CO No.737 dated19 0717) on his transfer to the Airfield police station was cancelled by the board. Two SIs earlier posted at headquarters of Commissionerate Police are now transferred to IUCAW cell and Nayapalli police station respectively. Similarly, 113 ASIs were also transferred with immediate effect.
