Probe into allegations against Panda
Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD MLA and the Kendrapada district observer of the party, Pramilla Mallick Saturday submitted her enquiry report on the allegations against party MP from Kendrapada, Baijayant Jay Panda.
She met BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here at Naveen Niwas this evening and submitted her report.
“I have submitted the report based on the feedback received from party workers and my discussions with Jay Panda to CM,” Mallick told reporters.
Following mounting complaints against the Kendrapada MP by party workers and leaders of his won parliamentary constituency, Naveen had entrusted Pramila Mallick with the task of undertaking a probe into the allegations.
Accordingly, Mallick visited the Kendrapara district and met leaders and party workers. She also held a telephonic conversation with Jay Panda. Her report focuses on allegations against Panda pertaining to neglect towards party workers and speaking against the party. Kendrapada district BJD president Dhruba Sahu has also submitted a report from his own side to the CM. “I would like to urge Panda to cooperate with the enquiry. Whatever complaints he has, he should speak out before our party president in the party forum. He should desist from his childish politics via social media,” Sahu said.
