Buguda: A man attacked his father and his three brothers, leaving two critically injured over a land dispute at Chirikipada village under this police limits in Ganjam district, Monday.
Sources said that the four sons of Raghab Mahanty entered into a brawl Sunday over a long standing land dispute. The eldest of the four, Ramkrushna again started quarrelling with his father and brothers Titu, Siddheswar and Bapuni when the death anniversary of their mother was being observed at home, Monday.
Ramkrushna, his son and two villagers from Pankapal village attacked the four with an axe and other sharp weapons, leaving Titu and Siddheswar critically injured. Raghab suffered a head wound while Bapuni escaped with a minor cut on his hand.
All the four injured were rushed to Buguda health centre and from there Titu and Siddheswar were later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur as their condition deteriorated.
