Tihidi: A man and his paramour were Saturday arrested for inflicting physical torture on his wife at Kolha village under this police limits in Bhadrak district Saturday.
Rajendra Sahoo, the accused, had been indulged in an extra marital affair with a woman. 15 days ago, Rajendra brought her to his house. Reena, the victim, opposed the presence of another woman in her house. This led to frequent altercation between the couple. Thursday they had another brawl which exasperated and Rajendra thrashed his wife Reena.
Registering a case, the police investigated the matter and Saturday arrested Rajendra and his paramour, they will be produced in a court.
