The Ad-hoc Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Fast Track Special Court Thursday pronounced its judgment and imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on the convict, Satyabrata Mishra alias Kalia.

If he fails to pay the fine, the convict will undergo imprisonment for another year, the government counsel said.

According to the prosecution, the incident took place May 19, 2025.

The victim’s mother lodged a complaint the next day, and the police arrested Mishra May 22.
