Berhampur: Two bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 5 lakh from a person near Bijipur in Berhampur in Ganjam district Thursday evening.
According to reports, the victim, Jagdish Patra was returning home after drawing Rs 5 lakh from Andhra Bank when two bike-borne looters snatched the bag containing the cash and decamped with the amount.
Police have registered a case and started investigation in this connection.
“We have started probe into the matter and the accused will be nabbed soon”, said Gosani Nuagaon IIC Kulamani Sethi.
