Krushnaprasad: A man reportedly travelling to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in a fishing boat lost his way in strong winds and the sea current and was rescued by the locals here in Puri district, Friday.
The man identified as Amit Khujur was rescued by the locals of Khirisahi village under this block after his boat hit the shores here early Friday morning.
Narrating his ordeal, Khujur said that he along with another native was returning home when suddenly they were caught in severe weather in the middle of the sea. Though the boat wrestled with the strong winds, he couldn’t move ahead in the desired direction.
